The Council would like to know YOUR views on the future direction of Watford taxis.

There are 4 options they would like you to consider, about the number of licences issued and whether to put a limit on. Before any decision is made the council want to be satisfied there is no significant demand for taxi services that is not currently being met.

These are the 4 options:

do nothing without introducing a limit on licences.
introduce stricter licence conditions without any limit on licence numbers.
impose a limit on licence numbers and review this in 2015.
stop the number of licences from increasing and introduce an Action Plan to improve the quality and standards within the trade.
