Technology company Rokform, based on Watford Business Park, recently organised a highly successful Golf Event at Pinner Hill Golf Club and raised money for their chosen charity Watford Workshop.

The event was attended by local business people with 20 teams of 4 taking part and an impressive £3,611.65 was raised for Watford Workshop, with all donations collected via charity fundraising experts Make A Donation.

Gary Clark of Rokform says: ‘Our parent company Activ8 has been associated with Watford Workshop for many years and we are delighted that our annual Golf Event has generated this level of donations. The Watford Workshop team was involved on the day and their motivation and enthusiasm greatly contributed to the fundraising’.

‘We had a super day and are most grateful  for this opportunity to meet local business people and raise much needed funds’ says Linda  McIntyre, General Manager of Watford Workshop. ‘The money raised will be used to help to continue the work we do with disabled people’.

Upon visiting Watford Workshop’s premises, Duncan Scoular, Business Development Director of TecStrat Ltd (seen in the picture with Gary Clark of Rokform and Activ8’s Jason George handing over the £3,611.65 cheque) added:  ‘I have been most impressed by the work done by all at Watford Workshop and am seriously considering using their services for future assembly work. All local companies should be made aware of this hidden gem’.
