Christmas might be only just behind us with New Year still to come, but The Peace Hospice is already preparing for Valentines day and their Strictly Come Hospice Valentine's Special dancing event.

The events have raised over £33,000 so far as contestants looking for some fun and to improve their dancing skills went through the six week training course (one hour per week).

And this is your chance to learn the Cha Cha Cha ahead of a glamorous Valentine’s Day special which will allow you to demonstrate your skills in front of the celebrity judging panel at the newly refurbished Watford Colosseum.

Your lessons will take place at Charters Gym in Watford with professional coaches from Moonglow Studio.

As this is a charity event, the Peace Hospice is asking for you to raise a minimum sponsorship of £150 as well as selling at least 10 tickets to the grand finale. This money will help the Hospice do their excellent work in caring for those living with a life limiting or terminal illness.

The hospice needs to raise £3million of donations every year to continue to run and further develop the services on offer, so this gives you a great opportunity to raise money for an excellent cause, improve your dance skills and perhaps work off some of the Christmas dinner, all in one go.

See thebestofWatford event listing for more details.
