26th April 2021

There is still time to sign up for Peace Hospice Care’s Sky Dive, taking place Sunday 18th July 2021. Thrill-seekers are invited to take on the jump to raise money for the charity as part of its 30th anniversary year celebrations.

Emma Price, who has registered for the Hospice’s Sky Dive, said: “Peace Hospice Care looked after my beautiful Mum in the last two weeks of her life and I have never been able to find the words to do justice to what they did for me and my family. They looked after my Mum with such kindness, care and empathy and I will never be able to thank them enough. I wanted to give back for the amazing work they do and I have always wanted to do a skydive - I can’t think of a more deserving charity to do it for.”

Gemma Norris, Head of Fundraising at the Hospice, said: “Every penny raised through our Sky Dive day will go directly into helping us continue providing our vital services for our local community when they need us most. Our brave CEO, Jackie Tritton, has already signed up to take on our sky dive, keen to take on a challenge in support of the Hospice and raise vital funds. Places are limited so I would encourage everyone who is interested to get in touch to find out more, or sign up for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”

Participants must book their place by Sunday 30th May 2021.
