So much to do, so little time!
The end of the summer holidays is here and what better way for mummy & daddy to celebrate than a night out at the new over 30’s, 40’s and 50’s party at Bushey Country Club. Super Dad will be home just in time to kiss the twins good night and for me to work my magic and glam myself up for a night of music, dancing and my favourite tipple a G & T, with lime of course.
I must be crazy though having planned two consecutive days worth of music as we will be heading to the highly anticipated Oxfest in Oxhey Village – one not to be missed with some great acts, the sun apparently shining down and the twins will love having free range for a boogy in the park.
I'm afraid this weekend is a little bit of a dud, like many other families it's all about getting ready for the new school term ahead, so I will mostly be washing, ironing, name tagging and packing bags ready for school – I will however not let you down with a weekend report next Friday on how NOT to pull your hair out after that first dreaded week.
I leave you with the knowledge that there is always next weekend and that there is no shame in a sneaky vino mid-week – it’s a yummy mummy’s right… Enjoy!
