Who hasn't heard of the hit musical, Singin' in the Rain?

Young or old, we all know the iconic song (in fact, George Sampson won Britain's Got Talent in 2008, dancing to Mint Royale's remix).

And here at thebestof Watford, we are delighted to hear that Singin' in the Rain will be coming to the Watford Palace Theatre stage in November 2015.

Presented by Cassio Productions, Singin' in the Rain is an all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza. Set as the 'talkies' arrive in Hollywood, Don Lockwood is a star of the silent movies, paired with the stunning yet stupid – and jealous – Lina Lamont. When he notices the charms of young studio singer Kathy Seldon, Lamont has her fired. But soon Lamont's own fame is in jeopardy when the advent of talkies means that her shrill voice makes her a laughing stock... until the studio decides to use romantic rival Seldon to dub her voice.

Filled to the brim with all the charm, romance, comedy and tinsel town glamour that made the original MGM film such an enduring favourite, Singin' in the Rain features all of the iconic songs, including 'Good Morning', 'Make 'em Laugh', 'Moses Supposes' and of course, 'Singing in the Rain'.

Singin' in the Rain will be at Watford Palace Theatre at 7:45pm from the 10th to 14th November 2015, with a matinee on the Saturday at 2:30pm. Cassio Productions' Nikki Scott returns as Director, with Martin Scott as Musical Director. Choreographed by Jo Bispham and starring Matt Bund as Don Lockwood and Kathleen Paynter as Kathy Seldon.

Details and tickets: 01923 225671 or visit the Watford Palace Theatre website . Tickets start at £14.50. Group bookings available.
