The competition is open to residents of all ages and the winning design will feature on the thousands of cards that the Mayor sends out, all over Watford,  at Christmas time. The winner will also recieve a prize of gift vouchers!

Mayor Thornhill has been quoted as saying “I would like my card this year to have a local theme or to reflect the Christian celebration that is Christmas. I know that our town has many creative residents of all ages and I look forward to viewing the entries!”

The council are hoping to attract some sponsors for the card and any money that they raise will go to local charity, Recovery Insight Centre, where people with mental health issues are cared for.
