Had lunch with an old mate at East Meets West in Elstree Village today. They have a pretty good menu there, fusion mainly Thai food. It's light and airy during the day, with a relaxed atmosphere. Mainly business people at lunch time during the week of course. They do a fixed price, very cheap, lunch menu but the a la carte menu is not expensive and I enjoyed it.
There are quite a few great pubs and restaurants all around Watford but it usually means jumping in the car - wouldn't it be nice to have a few good places in the centre of town? Maybe they are there. If you can recommend somewhere with a good atmosphere for lunch do let me know!
