Today (2 December 2020), local charity Peace Hospice Care announces its first Strategic Partnership with Mark Stern, Personal Agent at eXp (an online estate agency business). The arrangement means that Mark will donate a percentage of his fee to the charity for every house he sells where ‘peacefamily’ is quoted to him at the start of the process.
This is the first Strategic Partnership for the charity. Other ways in which businesses can support the charity include its Peace Business Partnership, where businesses donate regular amounts to help the charity plan its services, sponsoring events, corporate fundraising and volunteering.
Last year Mark supported his friend Chris when he needed to sell his home. At the time, Chris was undergoing treatment for lung cancer and was given a two-year prognosis. Mark needed to move and sell his family home quickly to get his affairs in order. Within a few weeks of marketing they had a buyer for Chris’ home and his property was sold.
Speaking about that experience and the Strategic Partnership, Mark Stern said: “I’ve seen first-hand the impact of life-limiting illness on friends and their families and I know what a difference Peace Hospice Care can make for people in this position.
