Watford locals have started an internet campaign to re-open the popular Red Lion public house, over the road from the Vicarage Road Stadium.
A popular pub for football fans, the Red Leion was closed in 2006 after it was bought by Watford FC who planned to turn it into offices.
More than 280 fans have joinbed a campaign on Facebook demanding it is re-opened as a pub outlining it was an important stop off for many match day visitors.
Watford FC outlined they were considering all possible options for the site.
