After a gruelling and competitive process to get to the finals of Sky One’s ‘Got to Dance’, a finalist will be performing at a free concert in Bushey near Watford next week.
Turbo, a runner-up in the Got To Dance competition, which was hosted by Davina McCall, will perform in The Moatfield, in Moatfield Road, with other acts at Party in the Park, on Friday, August 19 2011.
The gig will be held from 2pm until 6pm.
The event is family orientated, and families are invited to bring a picnic to the event, which is one of three held in the borough during the summer by Hertsmere Council.
Finding things to do in the summer holidays to keep the whole family entertained can be hard work and expensive - but this event solves those worries and promises to be great fun.
Councillor Brenda Batten said: “The summer holidays can be an expensive time of year, for both parents and young people, so attending Party in the Park is a great way of getting out and about without spending any money.
“Everyone is welcome to attend – whether you enjoy listening to music or watching dancers perform there is something to entertain you at this event.”
