Easter arts showcase swings into town 

Residents and visitors to Watford town centre enjoyed a wide range of performances from local groups and artists, courtesy of Watford Borough Council, on Good Friday. 

The event was the first of the council’s scheduled arts showcases that aim to highlight local talent and showcase artists and performers from Watford and the surrounding area. 

The acts showcased on Good Friday included:

JiveSwing

Joseph and Trisha, from JiveSwing.Com, are UK champions and one of Europe’s Leading Swing Dance instructors and experts, specialising in the 1940’s Lindy Hop (sometimes referred to as Jitterbug) and the 20’s Charleston. Salsa Revolution run Salsa lessons every Thursday in Highlight (formerly Jongleurs) Watford High Street. Beginners, improvers and intermediate/advanced classes from 8 to 9.30pm.
