Dates for the diary – Playdays are coming to Watford!

The school holidays are here and like many parents, you are probably wondering how you're ever going to keep the kids amused for the whole summer.

Well fear not, as Watford Borough Council is coming to the rescue! The Council's Play team is celebrating Playday – the UK's national day of play – with not one, not two, but THREE fantastic days of fun for children aged between 5 and 15 and their families. 

And best of all... they're free!

So read on and mark the dates in your diary... they may just help keep you sane!

Tuesday 4th August 2015, 11am to 4pm

Callowland Recreation Ground

An inflatable assault course, bouncy castle, giant laser tag, zip lining, games and activities, a special visit from Lego, prizes on offer... what more could you ask for?

Wednesday 5th August 2015, 11am to 4pm

Harebreaks Adventure Playground

Bouncy castle, music and activities, Harry the Hornet buzzing about to celebrate Watford FC's premiership promotion and a first place raffle prize of a Watford FC signed football!

Thursday 6th August 2015, 11am to 4pm

Harwoods Adventure Playground

Become a character from Alice in Wonderland for the day. Fancy dress fun (plus competition), giant inflatables and games, as well as a visit from Lego and the Hertfordshire Fire Service.

So make your children's day (or three!) Come along to Watford's playdays and take part in a huge amount of family fun.
