Businesses in the Watford area are invited to meet TV personality Carrie Grant and her husband and to hear their amazing story over a Caribbean cocktail with Crohn's and Colitis UK hosted by Clydesdale Bank.

The Herts-based charity is raising awareness of Crohn’s and Colitis, inflammatory bowel conditions which can have a devastating impact on education, work, social and family life. They last a life time and there is no known cure. Around 5,000 people in Hertfordshire are affected, many of them children, teenagers and young adults.

Crohn’s and Colitis UK provides much-needed information and support to sufferers and their families. Comments received from people the charity has helped include;

 “When I discovered your charity, I cried. I had felt so isolated.”

 “I can honestly say that I do not know what I would do without your organisation.”

 “You’re lifesavers.”

The evening is being held at Clydesdale Bank in Watford on Tuesday 12th October from 6:00-7:30pm. Entry is by registration only by calling Danny Whiteside on 01727 734485 or by emailing danny.whiteside@crohnsandcolitis.org.uk.
