Community businesses and youth groups in Watford have been invited to apply for grants in a £50,000 council giveaway.
Watford Borough Council’s annual funding programme aims to make the town a ‘healthier and safer’ place to live for all residents, through community focused businesses and youth groups who can demonstrate commitment to reducing crime and disorder, tackling anti-social behaviour and promoting healthy living.
Not for profit businesses and groups can apply to the council for a grant until Wednesday 31st March 2010.
