This March was Men's Month, with prostate cancer awareness top of the agenda and in support of this the Harlequin Centre hosted a Prostate Cancer Charity raffle, which raised an impressive £1'723.57.

In conjunction with the raffle promotional staff distributed ‘Knowing your Prostate’ flyers and fold out booklets to raise awareness of prostrate cancer during this specially dedicated month.

The £1 tickets were snapped up by shoppers in the hope of winning a choice of 3 luxury prizes including two video cameras and a digital camera generously donated by Marks & Spencer. The £1,723.57 total will be donated to The Prostate Cancer Charity, the UK’s leading voluntary organisation working with people affected by prostate cancer. The charity also dedicates its time to increasing investment in prostate cancer research and raising public and political awareness of a long neglected disease.

Chrissy Dawson, Marketing Manager at The Harlequin, commented, “ We are proud to be supporting such an important charity and the work they do for not only the men in Watford but all over the UK. They offer such a great support network to those suffering from the disease and we would like to thank shoppers for their donations to this cause”.
