Business Networking is Alive and Kicking in Watford

Business networking provides lots of opportunities for meeting and getting to know new potential customers and suppliers. Most of us have to learn to overcome our initial shyness and it’s natural to be a bit nervous and unsure when meeting a new group of people for the first time. Leaning to relax and feel confident takes time but it’s absolutely true that if you are offering a product or service it’s important to give people the chance to get to know you and hopefully to grow to like you before they will want to do business with you. So for decent, friendly business people networking in the right company can be really productive.

We’ve been pleased to support a couple of events recently organised by the local Watford Chamber of Commerce. We sponsored the Craig Goldblatt breakfast event at the Chamber and met loads of very nice local business people. Craig (pictured above) is a motivational speaker and coach who spoke very movingly about his involvement with Giving Africa, a charity that recognises that every child that is given the chance of an education has the potential to lift his or her family out of poverty.

Next week the Watford Chamber is organising a golf day in aid of the Peace Hospice. We’re sponsoring a hole or two and maybe we’ll see you there.
