Watford Fairtrade Christmas Week will be encouraging shoppers to stretch that spirit of Christmas a little further than buying a Fairtrade drinks in Starbucks, Greggs or the Co-Op by making that gift – jewellery or confectionery or even socks – a Fairtrade branded product.

Over ten years ago, local shops, cafes, businesses, schools and the council all contributed to a project for Watford to become Britain’s 250th Fairtrade town, showing their continued commitment to changing the way trade works through better prices, decent working conditions and a fairer deal for farmers, workers and their families in developing countries.

Watford Fairtrade Christmas will run from Saturday 2nd to Sunday 10th December with the aim of making it a little easier for shoppers to spot the range of Fairtrade products available throughout the town (and not just for Christmas).

Are you a shop, cafe or business that stocks Fairtrade products?
