I moved in to the area 5 years ago and this was one of the first shops I visited - So friendly, customer is king here, nothing is too much trouble and it doesn't matter whether you are buying 2 slices of ham and a pork chop or spending lots of money, the service and treatment is the same, faultless. They can also cater for parties too, providing sausage rolls, black pudding, pork pies, chicken drumsticks, burgers etc up to a huge joint for roasting. The sausages are locally made and the meat is exceptional, nothing is too much trouble for these guys. My family know when I've shopped elsewhere, my husband will say "this isn't a Poxons!"
