Walsall Community Transport are operating the Let's Chat scheme in the Walsall area, connecting people and their local community with the aim of tackling loneliness. 

If you run a support group or want to start a group but need a free place to meet, Walsall Community Transport are offering a space in the Community Transport Hub in Walsall Bus Station to help tackle loneliness.

How to apply 

Applications are open for charities or groups to use Walsall Community Transports space. The space can accommodate groups with up to 24 members and sessions can be booked 10am to 4pm. There is no charge for using the space, refreshments are provided and if your members need door to door transport, we can offer this at £1.30 per person per journey.

Door to Door Transport

Walsall Community transport, are also tackling loneliness with transport.

For the same cost as Ring & Ride (£1.30 per passenger journey) you can now book group transport for your users to get to your regular activities. No need for each passenger to book transport, group organisers can book on their behalf in regular 6-week blocks eliminating any uncertainty.
Passengers will need to register for the service but do not need to fulfill any mobility criteria to use transport, the purpose of the scheme is to encourage people back out into their community and to support community groups to grow their membership again after COVID.
