I like Walsall Arboretum and the Easter egg hunt this year was lovely and well worth going to on a bank holiday without having to drive too far in heavy traffic. Not a fan on the play area it self. It's over crowded and considering the temperature was hitting 20 the council didn't turn the splash pads on and the shop was closed. The toilets are dirty also. As for the rest of the man made park it's great to walk the dog and have a leisurely afternoon

It's been a favourite place of mine since I was a kid so taking my niece was really lovely. The work they have done on the cafe and the park has really helped and we had a really nice few hours round there. It's a great space for kids to play, for joggers, for dog walkers and generally for a good bit of fresh air and time out. The park is well equipped and the arboretum itself is big enough to not feel busy even when it is. There are plenty of parking options with the car park and street parking and I'm sure we will go again.

Lovely place to walk around, and a good size too. Has a playground, places to site etc. Everything you could ask for in a park really! Nice pond/lake thing too!

My toddler loved running around and feeding the ducks but the playground part could be dramatically extended as the mass of bodies that squeeze in is scary on a hot day kids could easily go missing/get snatched but if it was spaced a bit better parents would have better visibility when the little ones run from one piece of equipment to the other

Walsall Arboretum is lovely.

We ride down the canal from Wednesbury, stop at Costa at the Art Gallery for a drink, then carry on for a ride around the park.

It is very well maintained and is so relaxing to have such a green place that you can enjoy.

Sometimes we just walk around with the grandchildren and there is a nice park with swings and slides that they can enjoy playing on.

Obviously on bank holidays the park does get busy but it is so huge that this isnt a problem really.

There are boats in the summer that you can sail in the large lake which is nice as well, and there is a cafe with plenty of seats should you be hungry or thirsty.
