I've always enjoyed the arboretum, and over the years I think its improved. They've installed a small cafe, easy access toilets, friendly staff. It's a lovely day out. Lots of space to run, dog friendly ( though some of the dog owners, and some of the people in general are horrid) gorgeous flowers, nice large lake and wildlife. It is lovely

There’s loads to do at Walsall arboretum!
Plenty of free car parking.
Beautiful Green walking space in Abundance.
Exercise equipment, lots of football goals, basketball court, bike/skateboard track, splash pool that actually works, lovely park equipment, lake with pedalos to hire, cafe, toilets, picnic space the list goes on!
A few dodgy looking people about and I wish smoking would be banned inside the children’s play area, doing this would make it 5* (or simply just use your common sense and not smoke around other peoples kids!)

We came here for an afternoon, lots of free parking space - although it's a fair walk to the original arboretum park with all the facilities if you want a cuppa or an ice-cream.
Nice break from daily routine, at no cost other what you buy at the cafe (if you don't want to prepare a pick nick).

Nice park with plenty to do for the kids. Splash Pad gets VERY busy on a hot day and the queue for the peddalos can get very long.

Lovely big park with plenty of walking area. Park for children and more. A lake with swan/ducks. A cafe/eat area but I have never been. On occasion outside entertainment is put on.

Lovely days spent here having picnics with the children but the park can get extremely busy on those hot summer days which makes any parent anxious to say the least but otherwise a beautiful park

A lovely park with a boating lake and bandstand. Designed in an era when money appears to have been no object for the benefit of the residents of the borough, they really understood the benefits of the great outdoors and greenery, with beautiful walks and views.
