Problems with travellers on the extension again how often can this problem continue with this lack of security . Travellers using parts of the park for toilets and rubbish tips . Who put up the money for the clean up of the park and for the damage to the grounds how much longer are the green spaces to be abused ?

Have been coming here many times over the years and its a lovely little spot in Walsall. Actually id go as far as saying its one of the best things about Walsall. Iv been here running on my own and with friends as its a nice 2 mile round or i have came with the children on a got summers day for the splash pads and park to have a picnic. It really is worth a visit.

After a good lunch in the visitor centre, and some time feeding the ducks, we had a stroll around the lake.
As a local who hadn't been to the arboretum for quiet a few years, I was impressed with the effort that the local council had put into sprucing up and maintaining it.
There are many things that are easy to complain about in Walsall but this place rises above all the critics.

You wouldn't think you were in the middle of Walsall when you are in the Arboretum. It's a great place for a steady walk or for a great time with the kids. There's a good well-used skateboard park. Good coffee and food at the cafe. And especially since the recent refurbishment, things are really looking up for the Arboretum. There are quite a few music and drama events throughout the year.
