The Sweet Shop is a fantastic traditional spot that takes you right back to the good old days! It’s got an amazing selection of sweets and confectionery pretty much everything you could want, from nostalgic classics to unique treats modern & traditional you don’t see elsewhere.<br><br>What makes the experience even better is the owner, Mark. He’s genuinely one of the friendliest and most helpful shop owners I’ve come across. We had a great chat, and it’s clear he knows his stuff & very passionate about what he does.<br><br>Whether you’ve got a sweet tooth or you’re looking for the perfect gift, I highly recommend stopping by. Very welcoming, lovely clean shop that sells traditional and contemporary sweets but also makes these handmade gift wrapped hampers, bags and tubs of sweets that are always a show stopper at kids parties 🥳<br>The child giving the gift feels great and the child receiving the gift is so happy (I'm sure adults would feel the same) they're reasonably priced and start from £1.50 so there's something for all budgets & occasions. Absolutely love this sweetshop! me and my mrs have been going quite recently. Bought a kinder hamper for £30 off him which is a real bargain for the amount inside.<br>Beautifully wrapped wish i took a photo. The bloke is sound and really understanding.

Iv been buying sweets here with my siblings for years. Mark is amazing. He knows all about halal sweets and gluten free. Love his honesty and knowledge. Retro sweets, reminds me of my childhood and mark has a 80s/90s vibe about him to which I love. Hope this shop is around for many years to come :-).

Great customer service I went in and was looking for sweet cones. The lovely gentleman made me personalised sweet cones for the next day as it was around 5pm when I went. Great guy definitely recommend 👌

Lovely place to go to get old retro sweets and even some of the newer sweets that are out on the market these days, brilliant chap runs it he's very friendly, polite, not someone that's pushing you to buy. I personally don't normally feel comfortable going into any shops but I do going in to here fantastic, now a regular customer to stock up with goodies for a month or so and the prices are great aswell!!

Been coming here ever since I was a child,couldn’t recommend it more,absolutely amazing,owner is extremely kind and very helpful and has a wide range of treats. Always has been and always will be My go to place.<br><br>I am unable to write a second review so I will just add on to this one from previous, I came here again today and the service was just amazing,I ordered 4 £20 hampers as a Christmas gift for family and what can I say once again Mark went above and beyond to make them perfect,from including an incredible range of treats to even making sure the small details were perfect. Always has been and always will be my favourite place for goodies.
