I thoroughly recommend the Black Country Arms. There is a fantastic selection of drinks available, particularly the ales and ciders, but important to note that the pub caters for everyone, not just afficianados. The pub serves home cooked food which is freshly prepared, always tasty and excellent value. The building itself is full of history and character and there are also those little homely touches that don't go unnoticed. Kim and her staff always give you a friendly welcome, its exactly how a pub should be run.

Great pub with a great choice of drinks for everyone, especially the ale drinkers. Always feel welcomed by Kim and the rest of the staff whether I come in with friends or on my own on the way home from work. Great food and a relaxing atmosphere makes it hard to just walk past without nipping in anytime.

Everyone is sooooo welcoming ... nothing too much trouble ... huge choice of ales & ciders which changes continuously ... lots of scrummy munchies ... who needs egon ronay ... wonderful atmosphere ... never a dull moment ... dog & children friendly but always clean & tidy ... diverse range of entertainment / events & try to cater for everyone's taste ... absolutely love this place ... thank you to The Captain & her Crew for looking after us

I have visited this pub on several occasions, Kim is brilliant, so welcoming, especially to dogs (my son takes his staffie in there and Kim always gives him a hug, she has a soft spot for dogs), the food is also very impressive, this is how a pub should be. Five stars without any hesitation

I attended the Black Country Arms for a family gathering following a family member's funeral. We received an extremely warm and friendly welcome and nothing was too much trouble for my husband who is confined to a wheelchair. A ramp was provided and help offered. Kim had also ensured that the excellent, fresh and tasty buffet was accessible for my husband. Hot drinks were provided and samples of local ales were readily offered in order for us to make drinks choices. The building itself is fascinating and it felt warm and comfortable. All in all a fabulous place to catch up with family and to share our precious memories. Thank you.

Lovely selection of Belgium beers *love a fruit beer, A wide selection of real ales on cask. Bar snacks always available I enjoy a cheese cob or a pork pie washes down with a beer or a cider. Bar staff always polite and well mannered. Always smartly presented. They keep the bar clean amd tidy, & very inviting. Lovely local town centre pub. The best. Everyone works hard a great bar team.

This pub is easily the most friendly and appealing pub in the west midlands. It's a relaxing atmosphere with an astounding selection of ales and good food to boot. It's the perfect place to have a pint and a catch up with friends, and also to try a myriad of new ales that you wouldn't normally find easily in the local area. It also appeals to a wide audience, I personally have enjoyed nights out here, my baby shower, my mom's 50th birthday party, and now afternoon meals with my partner, baby daughter and friends.

What can I say about the BCA..? Easily the most welcoming pub in Walsall, always a smile and a chat from whoever pulls your beer, massive selection of real ales which change regularly so there is always something new to try (only downfall with this is there are so many to choose from that you end up at the bar for ages umming and ahing about what to have!!). The food is spot on with plenty of choice and the pub itself is full of character as a good pub should be. I've been going in there intermittently for over twenty years but how it is now has turned me into a regular. Couldn't recommend it more highly.
