Amazing pub with different guest ales and ciders every week. Food is really good. The interior has recently been redecorated and it's nice and clean and comfortable inside. The staff are friendly and helpful if you want advice on what to drink .

Brother and I went here for lunch as visiting the area to go to a football match. Pub was selected due to the good reviews for food. It did not let us down. Great portions, quality and hot. Just as you would want. Vast range of beers too. Handy to also watch the lunchtime match on the tv. Highly recommended place to go.

What a great traditional black country pub. I went there today for lunch with a friend and what a fantastic place. A warm welcome a great choice of good beer and a really good menu of proper home-cooked pub food all at reasonable prices. This is how town centre pubs want to be: a real gem

My family and I went for lunch at the Black Country Arms. Everybody was happy with their meal, good portions and reasonable prices. Drinks are more expensive than most of the other pubs in town but they have an array of real ales for you to sample. Staff are pleasant, pub is clean & we would recommend their food.

Always pop in here if on a Walsall crawl. Have only eaten here once and enjoyed it, usually go for the great real ale choice. One of the Black Country Ale pubs and so I always expect decent beer, well kept. It's a busy pub, so very popular and very close to the market area so handy. If you like real ale - you must visit.

If you are a beer drinker you will know about this pub as it has a fantastic range from which to choose and our "lads that lunch" were delighted with their choices. As if that was not enough the food is excellent being well-cooked and tasty. My preference was the steak and ale pie which was delicious. We were looked after wonderfully mainly by Tracey. Some areas are reached by stairs but it is a large building with plenty of room.
Fully recommend for food and drink on a lunchtime.

Been here a few times now, never had a bad meal... proper home cooked. However my husband has been ill and in a wheelchair and they don’t have disabled facilities here.. such a shame

Never get bored or tired of popping in here. Had a nice copper ale: Tumbling Jack (see photo).
The owners are rather generous with their lovely displays of Oriental Lilies. Some nice artefacts on the walls, (again see photos).
My only regret is that I only had time for a half 😦

Fantastic selection of beer whilst e njoying the match on the big screens. Wow what a BLT sandwich, probably the best I've ever had. The Mrs also loved her large fish finger sandwich. Will return

Nice to see bar staff passionate about their job and seem to have the appreciation of real ales as an hobby.
At this pub you may be encouraged to try before you buy! I tried four in total and settled on three: Black Country Ales Pig on the Wall, Kelham Island Pint Break and a gluten free Shiny Affinity. I enjoyed a good sized pork pie for £1.50 to accompany my three ales.
A little bit of nostalgia on the walls and traditional wooden features behind the bar. Clean bathroom. Will definitely be returning
