Me and my girlfreind had been planning to take my mom out for a special night on mothers day so we looked on trip adviser and noticed this restaurant which had some really good reviews, we booked a table for sunday for three.
When we got there at 7pm it was packed but we was still recieved at the door with a smile and was seated to our table. we first ordered drinks and popadoms.we then ordered our main courses which was moza mix for myself, my girlfriend had mix shash bhoona and my mom ordered Tandoori king prawn main, for side dishes we had 2 spice lounge rices, 1 garlic nan and a sesame and honey nan. even though it was really busy we got our food within half an hour, the food was amazing probably the best indian food we've ever had, my mom really enjoyed it.
The atmosphere was great, decor was nice, friendly service and amazing food will be back again and recommend to friends and family.

My partner and I went here last night, we have drive past many times so decided to give it a try. For a Friday night it was unusually quiet, only 5 or 6 tables were taken up. The restaurant was cold, to the point where i contemplated putting my coat back on. I had a fish starter which was delicious and something i have never tried before. I enjoyed my main meal, but i felt it could have benefitted from a bit more spice/flavour, Although my partner thoroughly enjoyed his curry and said it was one of the best he has had. I have to say the staff were friendly and attentive. Nothing to complain about, but nothing that would make me eager to return. Just an average Indian restaurant.

I booked a table here for Valentine's night after looking at the reviews on line, they had around 174 reviews, all good, so we had to try it for ourselves. When we arrived we were shown to our table and asked if we would like poppadoms and glasses for our drinks (this restaurant is unlicensed so we had to take our own booze, although when i rang to book the table, they informed me they had an extensive range of soft drinks available). We ordered poppadoms, starters and our mains all of which came out promptly with nice timed gaps in between. The portion sizes were fantastic value for money, we had hardly touched our mains as the starters were a decent amount of food, the manger came over to check if everything was ok and when we explained that it was just our eyes were bigger than belly's, he kindly had our food wrapped up to go. I can definately see why this place has a fanatstic reputation, the restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere, the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was delicious and you got a lot for your money. This place is nice enough for your special occasions and cheap enough for a regular thing. I'm already planning my next visit.

It was my first time visiting but I will definitely be going back. The starters were amazing, if you go try the chilli Paneer :) the mains were just as good, quite big portions and I had the garlic cheese nann, the cheesiest I've ever had!The interior is lovely too, open plan and your not packed in too tightly. The staff were very polite and gave you space to enjoy your meals. Just brilliant :)

As always fantastic ... Party of 12 on a Saturday night... we were a little late arriving, however staff were great and accommodated us. We had the the full works... Popadums, starters, mains and floater coffees to finish off... (No room for dessert unfortunately). Grilled lamb stir fry and the salmon shezan was amazing... must try for your own pleasure.
Hats off to the chef and the whole team, well done chaps!!!

Starters and main course meals are to die for! Very comfortable place with good friendly service. Just be prepared to wait for your food at busier times but aside from that - good food at good prices.

I’ve recently visited the Spice Lounge and I am pleases to report it was a great experience.
The restaurant feels warm and welcoming and it’s made even better by the professional and friendly staff. The food is also fantastic and reasonably priced. To Start I had Chicken Chatt which was tasty and full of flavour, for my main I tried Tandoori Mix Grill which was a mountain of meat.
In all I would recommend a visit if your in the area.

I came here recently for my boyfriend's Mum's birthday. We came on a Friday night at 7:30pm with a group of 9. The restaurant wasn't overly busy, but there were a couple of other large groups.
There were around 3 waiters but it seemed to be one who was doing the majority of the work. He was very helpful and the service we received from him was excellent.
Please note that this restaurant does not serve alcohol (only soft drinks) but you can bring your own alcohol with you which they supply glasses for.
The food is well priced here and the portion sizes are decent. I had the salmon tikka for a main course which had 1 and a half large fillets of salmon. The salmon was beautifully cooked. The sauce was a little sweet for me, but that's just personal taste. Most people in the group enjoyed their meals and the overall bill (9 mains, 9 poppadoms and a few soft drinks) came to around £140 which we all felt was great value.
I would definitely come here again.

Came here for my mothers birthday. There were 9 of us. They let my sister decorate the table before hand. They dont serve alcohlic drink in there but thats not a problem, as it is cheaper to bring your own and they get you glasses for the drinks. Quickly given menus, and orders taken. Staff were very polite happy and smiling which is what you want when you go out. Food came quickly with all the correct orders. I had the chicken tikka masala. It was a bit sweet for me but thats just my personal preferance. The chicken in it was lovely! Everybody enjoyed there food had a great experience. The boss should be proud!!

I visited Spice Lounge recently and was extremely impressed by the service, decor and food. All dishes tasted authentic with their unique flavours, unlike some places you come across where everything tastes the same. Highly recommend the fish pakoras, chilli paneer, jalpati and fish dishes. Although the restaurant isn't quite local to me I will be going back there for sure!

I have been here a few times before with friends and thought it wouldnt be fair to not recommended it this time... It has always been good. I recently visited with my family and as usual excellent friendly service, top class food, fantastic value for money. This particular time we tried a couple of fish dishes, Salmon Tikka was just amazing and if you do like fish the Panguish Bhoona is a must try.... superb in taste and texture... Every time I have been there, it has always been excellent quality food... All the waiters are very helpful.. I must mention Saj, he really does make the place welcoming with his smile, his humour and his expert advice. He's a great asset to the Restaurant.
You will find this place comfortable and very accommodating for a night out with friends or family or even a works do.... I've done the lot... Top Class Establishment.... Do try for your own pleasure.

After a long tiring day of shopping in Wolverhampton... I stopped off at the Spice Lounge with my family for nourishment. What was meant to be a half hour stop became near enough 2 hours. We were amazed at the comfort, the decor and the service. We had always driven past thinking we'll try this place one day. I wish had tried this sooner. The staff were most welcoming, very helpful with making our choices. Food was fabulous, I had a Jalpati, my wife had Shahi Murgh, with fish pakora and salmon tikka starters. The fish was amazingly fluffy and cooked consistently throughout. The chicken was succulent and juicy and the Jalpati with a unique tantalizing taste.... I'm coming back again and I'm sure again and again.... 5***** all around.... Wow

Since my review we've been back a couple of times. I'm pleased they've tidied the outside up but still suggest a little bit more work wouldn't go amiss.
Overall we like the food but just occasionally there seems to be an issue with "dry" chicken - I am not sure why this happens but ask the waiter to put it right if it happens to you. Our only other niggle is that the service can be a bit slow but otherwise it's a good place to visit.
