Tend to have takeaways usually and not from Shimla due to the distance we have to travel, for a change decided to eat there after quite a period, the food is remarkable as is the service, lovely evening, last time we visited some 6 months ago it was just as excellent, remains consistent in quality and service.

This curry house is possibly one of the best places I have been to. With very friendly staff, a small curry house becomes so friendly and builds a very nice atmosphere with it. It's very clean and the service is quick. Allowing you to bring in your own drinks can heavily reduce the bill, even though it's not expensive in the first place and also with the deals on it's even cheaper. The food quality is amazing and I couldn't find this anywhere else. Go here very often and am happy with the service I receive.

Our friends live in Aldridge and come here quite a lot so when we visited they said we should go. There is lots on the menu and we all had starters and mains.

Tried many of the Walsall Indian takeaways but always gone back to Shimla's Aldridge.
Couple of times I have brought a colleague from India to the restaurant who is pure veg, they made a special meal for him, guaranteed to be veg only. Highly impressed by my colleague and well recommended with the personal service.

Been visiting this restaurant for nearly 10 years and my husband for a good while longer. Never had a bad meal, staff are always friendly and you never feel rushed to leave your table. We have tried many other Indian restaurants but always come back to Shimla.
