I tried the Romanian papanasi at Shaworma House and I was pleasantly surprised! They were fresh, fluffy, and perfectly fried – golden on the outside and soft inside, just like the traditional ones.
The presentation was beautiful, with the warm blueberry sauce generously poured over them and plenty of creamy sour cream on the side. The little fried dough ball on top was a nice authentic touch. It felt like a proper Romanian dessert!
The portion was generous and the flavors were spot on – not too sweet, with the perfect balance between the warm jam and the cold cream. Definitely one of the best papanasi I’ve had outside Romania.
Will definitely come back for more! Highly recommended if you want to try a real Romanian treat. 👍🍒”

Ordered mixed shawarma wraps for £7.50 and sat inside. Food was made fresh to order and big portion too! There's a small seating area and I think the tea is free
