Really Nice and Quirky Tea room!
All the decorations are all themed around 1940s, they have some fantastic items that showcase how our ancestor's used to live.
The Afternoon tea is really nice they have a good section of teas, sandwiches and cakes, you can tell they was made fresh.
They also have a good selection of alcoholic drinks and a couple of draft beers.
Located at the back of parlour there is a nice outdoor seating area this has also been decorated really nice and is a perfect location when the weather is fine.
The staff that work at the parlour are really friendly and they make you feel very welcome and add a nice touch to the overall experience.
Ideal location for small parties or a little retreat to have a little drink in.

Have just had afternoon tea at pigeons parlour.
My daughter is vegan and there was no problem in fact there was so much she had to bring some home which wasn't a problem as bags were quite happily provided. We had a pot of tea which was refilled when asked. It was my daughters birthday and such a nice touch when they brought her food out there was a candle on her cake and 2 of her sandwiches were cut out in her age, I thought that was
a lovely gesture. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and we will certain be going again definitely value for money and cosy interior. Many thanks for a lovely afternoon

I was part of an over 50's outing. The 40's theme was brilliant with so much memorabilia on display. The food was enjoyable and gave a flavour of what you could expect from the period. I also give a very big thank you to the hospitality of the owner and her staff for making us so welcome. A thoroughly great afternoon was had by all who came.

I went with 2 friends and had the most wonderful time. The ladies were so nice, giving us so much information about the place, and about the 40s. We had a great history lesson. The food was brilliant and I've never drank so much tea. Non of us managed to eat all the food, even tho it was fab. The one lady heard me say I have soya milk at home, and came with a jug of soya milk and a fresh cup and saucer. So kind. The price was good too. I'll be going back with another friend, and also with my hubby. Tha k you ladis

What a fabulous little place. Steeped in history and wartime ornaments. The sandwiches and cakes are delicious and to be honest, I doubt I'll be booking afternoon tea at well named restaurants again as they simply can't compete with this lovely place which also has a fantastic selection of gins!
