A firm regular but left extremely disapointed in recent months. From the change of cheaper ingridients and oils that is noticable in the taste within the samoas. An undercooked paneer spring roll that was ice cold within the middle. And a terrible aftertaste in the indian sweets - as though they had been sitting out since God were a lad. I'd also like to point out the rudeness of the staff and disregard of social distancing within the store - visibly customers not being managed by the staff and letting them roam around making other customers uncomfortable.
Whether its the unsatisfactory food or the poor regard for social distancing - IMO AVOID!

Response received from the business owner - "We are sorry about the experience you have complained of. We can assure you that we have not changed our samosa ingredients or the brand of oil we use for at least the last 20 years. We have also not had any other complaints about the taste of our samosas or paneer rolls, so are sorry you feel this way. In regards to social distancing, our staff have been told to only allow 2-3 customers in at a time and to ask other customers to wait outside when the shop is busy. In addition, we also have signs up in our shop asking customers to wear face masks. However, we cannot force people to wear masks nor do we have police powers - we can merely make the request or ask the customer to leave. It is disappointing that at a time when businesses are struggling and doing the best they can to stay open, help their local communities, support the NHS, pay their employees and suppliers, you find the need to write a scathing complaint in the way that you have instead of raising any concerns in store. We wish you all the best.”
