I visited Five Rivers, New Years eve with the family the staff and food was amazing, and above all to make the evening even more special they had a pianist by the name of Ranesh who played any song you requested and was happy to do so, I would highly recommend Five Rivers to anyone, thank you Ranesh and the staff for an amazing New Years eve, I hope to visit again soon

Amazing food recommend for the price for sure, small niggle is that the vegetarian selection could be greater but don't let that deter you from going well worth a visit!

Amazing food, service is impeccable. My choice of Indian restaurant in the Walsall and Birmingham area. You will not be disappointed.

Another wonderful experience at 5 rivers. We were well looked after from arrival to departure. We ordered the Ravi set menu, as always the food was of consistently highstandard. Thank you for a memorable night. Muito obrigado :)

First visit to the 'Five Rivers' restaurant in Walsall, after meaning to go for a long time. A birthday came up so the perfect excuse.
Situated on the outskirt of the main town centre, close to local council car parking, which is convenient, and hidden away from the main road, so very easy to miss!
The entrance to the place is quite impressive, modern and inviting.
Inside a very large bar with drinks going up to the ceiling and accessible by a sideways moving ladder, abit like an old Victorian library. Plenty of space between tables so very open and also having an upstairs brining area.
Went in a Saturday night and our initial thoughts were that it wasn't very busy, we were proved wrong as the night went on.
Lots of uniformed staff who were very pleasant and attentive to our needs throughout the evening.
I ordered the Mirchi Murgh, which is very similar to Manchurian Chilli Chicken, and was very impressed with the look and taste of this dish. Very authentic and the first time I've had this served this early in any restaurant. For the main I had the Krahi Ghost, which was boneless lamb in a thickish masala sauce with green peppers. Not as flavoursome as others I've had, but still tasty, went well with a plain nan bread and a good pint of Cobra beer.
Overall good ambience, food and beer. The bill, with a service charge, came close to £100 for the three of us.
Would definitely go again...when a special occasion rears its head...

Great food, great atmosphere and the decor was on point. Had a guy playing the piano whilst we had our dinner which set the mood to a great evening. The best Indian food I've had yet.

Food was nothing special at all. I was expecting great food, from what i had heard, the food was really something to experience. When i tried it, i just couldn't understand. I thought it may be mine so i tasted my boyfriends too and that was not much better

Great venue and food. But social conversation was constantly interrupted by staff enquiring about menu, food etc and my plate was removed before I had completely finished and friends still eating.

I had a lovely Christmas meal here with friends and colleagues from work. The food quality and portions were fantastic and the the creme brulee dessert was delicious. The staff were exceptional. I can't wait to book our Christmas meal again for this year.
