Losing my beloved only child has been the worst experience of my life especially as it happened suddenly and unexpectedly.
I do not know how I would have coped without the care, support and professionalism of Dean and his team.
From the first phone call to Dean my family and I could not have been in better hands. Dean came to my home and talked me through a process at a time when I was at my lowest point. His calm, thoughtful and commited presence made Dan's final journey so dignified and I cannot thank him and his team enough.
I was kept informed at all times of where Dan was and the attention to detail shown him. My boy could not have been in better hands.
On the day of the funeral Dean made himself available at all times and gave me space to have some final moments with Dan.
Everybody who attended commented on how well Dan's funeral had been undertaken. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I wholly recommend Dean Harper Funeral Directors. They genuinely care about each deceased person who they look after and the family and friends of that person. I cannot thank them enough.

We used Dean & his team in 2012 for my brothers cremation and were so pleased at the time with their professionalism that in 2013 my mother arranged and paid for her funeral!
Sadly she passed away 30 /12 /2024 and again Dean & his team carried out her burial to her wishes!

We chose Dean Harper for my mother in laws funeral care based on the glowing reviews we read here and the transparency of their website. We cannot thank Dean Harper enough for the care and consideration they took when talking us through everything and helping with what was needed and what to do next as it were. Particular thanks go to Liam and Anna-Marie who were with us at the funeral and Anna-Marie who took such care to write a fantastic story for my mother in law Sheila. Though such a sad day for us all, we will remember the fantastic service and kindness shown by all the people that we had contact with at Dean Harpers, knowing that with their help, my mother in law had a beautiful send off.

We would like to thank Dean and his team for their constant care and support when my Father recently passed away. Having been recommended to us, from the moment of first contact to the day of my Fathers funeral we received kindness and respect and dignity was given to Dad throughout. The kindness, tenderness and care given to us all, especially to my Mother was heartwarming. Nothing was too much trouble. Dean and his team were so professional and on the day of Dad's funeral, the cars were beautiful and gleaming and we were gently guided step by step throughout Dad's funeral. It was completely heartwarming as a surprise personal touch by Dean to have a picture of a boat displayed on the screen at the crematorium in honour of Dad. Thank you, from us all. we would wholeheartedly recommend Dean Harper Funerals to anyone who should find themselves in the sad position of losing a loved one.

My mum passed away three years ago, and I was so fortunate that the care home recommended Dean Harper and his colleagues. Recently I found myself having to arrange my father's funeral, and asking Dean again to look after my dad was an obvious choice. The care and support that Dean provides is second to none. I knew that my father was in safe hands, and Dean and his team guided me every step of the way, through the admin and organisation in the first few days, and then on the day of the funeral itself. They made everything so much easier for me, and their care is exemplary. I am so grateful to them, and would recommend them to all who are in the sad position of needing their services.

As a family we could not have been happier with the service we received, under very sad circumstances. We said we wanted a requiem mass in England, followed by land/sea travel back to Dublin for a burial in Dad's home city. Dean Harper's FD organised everything in a very professional manner with all details considered. They drove my father right through to the FD's premises in Dublin. We found it a very smooth process, which helped so much when grief is hard to manage. I wholly recommend this company to anyone else, as I am sure the service we received is of the standard provided to others. Thank you.

My father passed away unexpectedly, leaving our family in shock and completely unprepared. From the moment we connected with Dean and his team, however, they provided a steadying hand, guiding us through each step with compassion and professionalism. They were not only approachable and empathetic but also exceptionally efficient, offering insightful suggestions and keeping us updated at every stage. Anna Marie, the celebrant, was truly outstanding. She took the time to visit us, asking thoughtful questions and putting together a beautiful, heartfelt service. The eulogy she crafted perfectly captured our dad’s life beautifully, honouring the special man that he was. Every detail was handled with care and precision. The hearse and cars were immaculate, the flower arrangements were fresh, beautifully arranged, and reasonably priced. On the day of the service, Dean directed his team flawlessly, ensuring everything ran smoothly and respectfully. I wholeheartedly recommend this business to anyone who has lost a loved one. Dean and his team are exceptional people who go above and beyond to make a painful process easier to bear. Their “nothing is too much trouble” attitude, combined with genuine empathy and attention to detail, made us feel supported throughout, allowing us to give our dad the farewell he truly deserved. Dean and his team very caringly took care of everything when we said goodbye to my father in law. Nothing was too much trouble and the patience was endless. I cannot recommend Dean and also Anna enough. Even when mums new shoe split completely and there was a dental incident too you took it all in your stride while we believe Dad had the last laugh! My elderly cousin passed away under particularly sad and lonely circumstances and it was several months before I even found out about it - living, as I do, in a different part of the country. I turned out to be his nearest next-of-kin and so it fell to me to make all the arrangements for his funeral, cremation and interment in a pre-existing grave-plot he had provided for his late partner and himself. Dean Harper Funeral Directors were recommended to me by the priest during my long-distance arrangements with him - and I have to say I have been very impressed indeed by the company’s caring professionalism and first-class service in every aspect of this sad occasion. I was able to discuss every detail with Dean over the phone and between us, we were able to provide my cousin with the best possible send-off. His headstone, too, was handled by the company’s own stonemasons and his inscription was able to be planned and executed exactly as I wished. I would heartily recommend Dean Harper Funeral Directors as being a particularly caring, adaptable, sympathetic and professional company.

As I live outside Walsall I wasn't familiar with Dean and his team, but from the moment Mom passed away everything was arranged by Dean and his team, and all of Mom's wishes were catered for.
On the day of the funeral we were totally taken aback by the dignity and respect that all Dean's team showed to not only Mom, but all our family, and the day couldn't have run any smoother. I would like to thank Dean, but especially Carrie and Anna for their kindness and support during this most difficult time.

From the onset to completion, the team at Dean Harper's were kindness and professional throughout, even negotiating the seamless return of Mum from Cornwall to her home in Walsall. Dean and his team have looked after both my mother and father. The fact that I used Dean for my father (after my mother) tells you that they excelled.
