Thank you very much to everyone at Dean Harpers. They all went out of their way to make a difficult time as easy as possible for us. From the ladies in the office - Pauline, Anna and Michelle who went the extra mile to make sure we understood everything and guided us step by step through the whole process, to Dean himself who was brilliant, down to the Drivers on the day. You all provided an exemplary service and as a family, we can't thank you enough! I highly recommend Dean Harper Funeral Directors and Stomemasons. A brilliant service by brilliant people!

I can't express the gratitude I felt towards Dean Harpers and the support that Anna and the team gave to me in helping arrange my sister's funeral. I live overseas, and immediately on contacting them, they were professional and helpful, guiding me every step of the way. In August I had to organise my dad's funeral with my mom and brother, something we didnt think we was going to be doing.I chose Dean and I'm so glad I did, it was the perfect day, from the day he first come to see us he was there for us as a family and my dad, there so many little touches that just made the day perfect. My dad left the house from his drive and me and my brother walked him out the street with Dean all these little things made our day. I wouldn't use anyone else and I can say my dad was treated with dignity and I know he was looked after. Thank you Dean and your team beautiful people.

I can not explain how wonderful Dean harper and staff was the care and compassion that Dean showed me and my family from the start was amazing he really put us at ease in the arranging the funeral of my father who sadly passed and I never had to do a funeral arrangement before and i was so worried about doing it and making it right for my dad but as soon as I walked in and spoke to Dean I knew I had nothing to worry about and felt really comfortable would certainly recommend Dean and his team well done and thank you so much for all you did on the day

My Dad sadly passed away at the end of October..
Having known Dean for years on a professional level & seeing first hand how he & his team have conducted funerals in the past we had no hesitation in choosing him to arrange & oversee my Dads service…
The commitment and quality of care we received from the team from the first phone call to the final journey was outstanding…
True understanding and respect we received made the saddest time feel like we were with friends working together to make sure everything went perfect…

Following the sad death of our elderly mother in February, 2021 we turned to Dean Harper funeral services, following a recommendation.
This was the best move we made. EVERY member of staff was kind, considerate and understanding of our grief. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We were gently guided through this distressing process with professionalism yet always with kindness.
I can think of many many times when i had cause to telephone or call to their office, to either change or tweek the arrangements but i was never made to feel that my needs were a nuisance. Our family cannot thank them enough, nor praise them too highly. A great company who delivers what they promise in spades.

Dean Harper and Pauline and the rest of the team made an absolutely heartbreaking and shocking time absolutely beautiful for my dad. They were so patient with my endless questions and supported me and helped me to make decisions when i could barely string a sentence together through my tears. That wasnt a team just doing their job ..,…. That was genuine love and attention and i am very thankful for that because it was was exactly what i needed at this very difficult time.

In January 2022 I needed to arrange my husbands’s funeral and I am so thankful we found Dean. From the moment we walked in and met Anna we knew we had made the right decision. Anna listened so carefully to our wishes and guided us with great compassion through the whole process making it all manageable at such a difficult time. We had many conversations to make sure everything was just as we wanted it to be. Anna took care of absolutely everything, always checking we were happy with the decisions. On the day of the funeral Dean made sure everything went perfectly - with great dignity but also with so much kindness. He guided and supported us through the most difficult day and the whole team at Dean Harper made sure Karl’s funeral was exactly what we’d hoped for.
I cannot thank Dean and Anna enough for being so amazing at the most awful time of my life.

Dean Harper have recently dealt with the funerals of both my mother and father in law, who both died suddenly within 5 weeks of each other.
You will find funeral directors that are cheaper but the way in which Anna handled my initial call, the transportation of my father in law back from Cornwall by Anthony, the extra information how to plan a funeral (I'd never had to plan one before) was above and beyond.
Their service was exceptional.The team wonderful to deal with at such a distressing time. When my mother in law passed it was the obvious choice to use them again.
I highly recommend them to everyone.

This company has been absolutely amazing from start to finish! They have kept me in the loop with every update every step of the way, they have been brilliant with any questions or queries I have asked they have responded quickly in a professional caring manner. This is the 3rd time I have used this company and I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else as they have been perfect every single time! Five stars is not enough for Dean, Anna, Michelle and all the team, I lost my dad 9 years ago and my mom 2 years ago. I was giving Dean's number as i wanted the family grave cleaned renovated and extra vases put on with mom and dad's details nothing was to much trouble, they were always checking in with me, we had so much in common with our families. I have made true friends with these guys, they truly do look after you and support you when needed... I would recommend Dean and his company.
