My friend had forgotten to book a table of 10 on Sunday. We decided to call da Vinci’s last minute in hope that they could fit a big table in, they accommodated our needs immediately. We walked straight into the resturant, were greeted with a friendly response and seated straight away and the rest of the service was excellent as they had a Sunday offer with a 3 course meal.
It turned out to be a pleasant meal especially booking last minute for a table of 10.

I have lived in Aldridge all of my life; got an invite to a birthday party at this restaurant; asked friends if anyone had been and couldn't get information. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this restaurant; extensive menu; good service; nice welcome at the front door on arrival; food nicely cooked and presented; competetively priced. My only criticism is that there ought to be a small holding area for diners to wait if they are first to arrive and waiting for others, but that will not stop me from visiting again in the future!

Our second visit to this restaurant and not disappointed. It was very busy but the attention and service we received was excellent. The food was fantastic. There was a set menu for valentines but we were allowed to order from the main menu. We had steak and it was lovely. We shall be seeing you again very soon.

Booked a table for two (wednesday evening, 6:30). Really impressed by the midweek special menu, three courses for 16.95 per person and a free bottle of wine. My husband and I both said that due to the size of the starter we could have left at this point full. However the rare steak and beautifully cooked duck were worth staying for. I had the lemon cheese cake for pudding and it was superb. The restaurant was clean with a great layout. The staff were friendly through out. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends.

Da Vinci's is on the high st, with parking to the front. After walking up a flight of stairs to the restaurant you enter a large spacious dining area with windows on the one side overlooking the street.
Service was attentive and the menu extensive. We opted for the 3 course menu which was very competitively priced and when the food arrived they were all generous portions. It was all well cooked and superbly flavoured and I will definitely be returning soon.

My boyfriend and I went here a few months ago for my birthday and we had a lovely time. The outward appearance of the place looks deceptively small as the restaurant is quite big on the inside. The staff were amazing and the food was lovely. Only complaint is that it was a bit too loud for my liking but overall a very nice place to eat

Called in for lunch while near by and what a lovely surprise. From the entrance the dining area is not visable as it is upstairs so could not see from outside. On going upstairs what a nice room it was, spacious and clean with a really suitable decor. The waiter was first class and the price was amazing for the set lunch. We both went for different starters and main meals and all was faultless, we ordered a garlic bread to go with our meal and it was one the best we have had. The size of portions were good for the cost and the choice although only about half a dozen on both coarses was more than ok for a lunch. We just had to have dessert to try them too, we were not disappointed in any way. We had a bottle of wine which was the icing on the cake and again the price was so much better than similar places. What a surprise it turned out to be, so much so that we intend to go again next weekend for the Sunday menu and even try the evening meal shortly. All the prices are excellent and if Saturday lunch is anything to go by the food is very good, and excellent value. Well worth a visit if like us, just give the lunches a try first.

We had a Sunday night reservation pre Xmas for a family gathering. The restaurant was not full but enough people for a good atmosphere on a Sunday night. Attentive staff helped to make a pleasant experience.
Fresh cooked food and presented well. Everything looked clean and the night went well.Would go back again for a family gathering as many their seemed to be doing the same.
The price for what you get was at the top end of my scale but not over the top.

This was our first visit tonight and I felt compelled to come home and write a review. We went as a party of four. we were meet by a very friendly waitress who took us straight to our table. All of the waiters that looked after us were very friendly and attentive. We all had starters which were excellent. Two of us had filet steaks that were cooked to perfection and massive , the kind of steaks that you only get when you go abroad. Although we would have liked a desert we were too full. I asked if I could take home a desert and that was not a problem. I am looking forward to that later. Overall value for money was excellent, I would have actually paid more for that food and the service. Looking forward to go again soon.

We have been to Da Vincis several times and always had a lovely meal. Staff are very polite and can never do enough for you. Having been to many Italians in Birmingham etc this beats them all by a mile. Also the steak is a lot better than miller & carter and cheaper!

Don't know the restaurants around Aldridge so after reading the reviews decided to try it out. Forgot it was on 1st floor so elderly be aware many steps and toilets downstairs. However meal was excellent value and appeared home cooked. Well served and staff attentive without being impolite. Will go again.

Our first visit saturday evening, meal was booked for 7.30 for 5 of us.The restaurant was already full, staff were very attentive, we thought we might have to wait awhile, but this wasn't the case.
The lamb was very good value and plenty of it,canelloni good portion, the chicken dishes tried by the other members of our party were nice and plentiful too, didn't get chance to try desserts too full!

I would agree with most of the reviews on here that this must be one of the best restaurants in terms of value for money. The quality of the steaks are incredible and all staff are very friendly. Yes it could be a bit more polished around the edges and some of the other dishes are hit and miss but I would challenge anyone to find a better steak for 15quid anywhere. See you soon!

Having my first experience at Da Vinci's last Friday night was brilliant. Even though there was a full house and was a very busy atmosphere the staff kept to the highest of standards.
Having had the three course meal along with my family having chose various dishes I had the advantage to try a bit of everything.
The food was as succulent as described, and having asked to have my steak medium cooked was understood perfectly and tasted to my perfection.
I could not fault the night, as occasionally in most restaurants on Friday's the standards of food may vary due to being busy but Da Vinci's could not be faulted.
Staff were great and food was exceptional. Which made the evening positively memorable.

No,they don't have fake Italian accents, what the do have is good food and wine at a very reasonable price.I have dined there with friends, from a party of ten to only two of us.Nothing in my opinion is too much trouble for the manager and staff. One example was to send out for brown bread,as that is the only sort my friend can eat.The set mid week menu is great value £15 99 for three very substantial courses and a bottle of wine per couple, what more could you want from a midweek night out?nothing in my opinion.

First time at Da Vinci's
Firstly the staff are absolutely fantastic, nothing is too much for them, they were very attentive. The attention to etiquette was noticed by my partner, she stated that there were no gaps.
The food was ( now this makes me feel bad because everything else about the place is top notch )based on price was ok, but it's not for a special occasion, there was nothing jaw dropping about the food.
My dish was just ok!!! No cream in the cream sauce! Basic's!! My partner was picking a few bones from her sea bass, not a biggie but when your having a romantic night out you want it, for a night out to remember, for instance my other half didn't like having to put bones on the side of her plate whilst we spoke!!Please don't get me wrong the experience was ok and was priced for your pocket, but for a special night out there are other places in Aldridge that whilst the staff are poor the food is jaw smacking

I have visited Da Vinci on several occasions now and will definitely visit again next time I am in the area.
The food is great and is really good value for money and the drinks are not vastly overpriced as they tend to be in lots of restaurants. The staff are all friendly and helpful and even though there is usually a few months gap between visits (I don't live locally or I would be there more) they always remember us.

We visited the restaurant having heard good things about it from a relative to try the 'Sunday special - 3 courses for £9.95 per person - and weren't disappointed.
We ordered a range of starters: The Costolette Deliziose (ribs in a rich orange sauce) got the thumbs up from myself and my elder son and was very tasty and filling. My younger son son had a lasagne starter which again was full of flavour. My wife had the melon starter which was - well- honeydew melon.
For mains, two of us had the duck which came with a delicious mushroom and red wine sauce. The duck itself was ok, but well done (to be fair, the waiter had informed us this would be the case before we ordered). I had the chicken, stuffed with ham and cheese which came with broccoli , cauliflower and new potatoes - very filling. My youngest son chose the Spicy Calzone
- an enormous portion stuffed with chicken, salami, and meatball with an flavour-packed bolognese sauce.
The desserts we chose were the cheesecake, apple pie with ice cream and the chocolate fudge cake, all very tasty and finished off the meal nicely. The one minus here was that the apple pie pastry was a little soggy for having been reheated in the micro rather than an oven.
For drinks we ordered a bottle of house chardonnay which came in at a very reasonable £10, along with a bottle of Peroni and two cokes.
All in all, this was excellent value for a total of £56 for four people including drinks and olives and bread. If you're looking to celebrate a family birthday or perhaps for an alternative to the usual Sunday options of a carvery or a curry, you shouldn't be disappointed. We'll definitely be going back soon.
