I have been going to Da Vinci's for nearly 6 years. Although I go maybe once or twice a year and never had a problem.
After reading some of these reviews before going today I was a little disappointed, made me wonder if something had changed.
I can definitely say nothing has changed. The service, the food, the ambiance and decor is spot on.
We had our normal £10.95 set menu and could not complain about any of the food. Fantastic portions and so filling that we took our deserts home to finish later. The best value for money and will choose Da Vinci's over any restaurant in Aldridge.
I would not say any of the food is microwaved or "Iceland Standard" as per previous reviews.
The decor is done nicely, can't stand places that are over the top. I still don't understand some of the other reviews.
Then the staff. Very attentive, very polite.
Would 100% recommend this place everytime, and before anyone thinks "this review must have been paid for" is wrong.

An excellent early evening meal. Good food at reasonable prices with efficient friendly service. Children's meals anything off the main menu a half price, good house wine, we've made several visits here over the last 4 or 5 years and have always been happy with our visit.

We visited with the family on a Saturday evening. Food was good and reasonably priced. Service was also good and the restaurant was busy - a good sign!. We have been a few times now and will definitely return.

The food was great, I'd advise keeping it simple though. Don't do anything fancy, I just had a lasagne and it was spot on. I just felt it was a little pricey for what it was, especially the starters! Pretty decent overall though.

After hearing fantastic reviews of this restaurant I thought it was time to finally give it a try. It was my birthday so arranged for myself and some friends to try the lunch menu which is 3 courses for £10. For £10, if it was terrible it wasn’t a huge cost but we were pleasantly surprised. It was pretty quiet but it was 2pm on a Monday afternoon. There were only a few other tables in so service was pretty speedy by a waiter who profusely thanked us.
There was plenty to choose from on the lunch menu and we tried a range of starters including the Camembert, the soup and prawn salad, everybody agreed that it was tasty and a decent sized portion to start.
We then moved on to mains, we had variety of pastas and pizzas and again, all were delicious and very generous portions. We added a cheese garlic bread which was huge and also tasted great for £3, an absolute bargain.
Some of us had desserts which for me was the most disappointing part of the meal, the crepes weren’t fantastic but maybe I was really full by this point. The cheese cake was very nice according to another member of the party and we all left very full and very satisfied.
Would certainly return again, especially for the lunch of the mid week menu which is an absolute bargain. Following a visit to ask Italian the week before, the food here is far superior certainly doesn’t seem to be microwave meals like it has been suggested.
Although the decor isn’t necessarily authentic Italian, the cost and the taste of the food makes up for the atmosphere and if you are that desperate for authentic Italian maybe visit Italy rather than trying to find it in the middle of Aldridge?

Visited with my friend. We both chose from the lunch menu which is really good value. We both had the deep fried camembert for starter, then my friend had lasagne and salad and I had spaghetti carbonara for our main course. We really enjoyed our meal and the manager who served us is really nice and helpful.

We were staying with friends in the area and they had booked a table for us all. The name suggests an Italian restaurant and there were Italian dishes on the menu but it is staffed by mainly Asian people. Starters and desserts were good value and the mains were averagely priced. Service was good and the food (rack of lamb) was very good. It was served with mash and a selection of vegetables but the vegetables also included potatoes (bizarre) All in all a nice restaurant.

Visited davincis on an 'off chance'... Phenomenol value for a very good meal. Flavour and quality of ingredients, far exceeded the price of meals. We will definately return!!! Even the olives as a pre-starter were lovely. GORGEOUS!!!

Fantastic value and service at this restaurant for a lunch time meal. The food was excellent with attention to detail. We were the only people in there so was quite worried about the food but I enjoyed my meal and really enjoyed my moms meal! I finished hers off. My fiancé had the lamb but he wasn’t impressed.
