Alex arrived at our house at the arranged time. We discussed our request for a building extension so we could extend our kitchen. Alex quickly went through what he needed to do and the costs involved. We agreed to go ahead and Alex took all the measurements needed to produce outline plans. A copy of the plans was emailed to us before being submitted and after a few tweaks on the plans, these were duly submitted to the council and are now awaiting approval. Alex took care of all the details and kept us informed of what we needed to do regarding the council payment so we had absolutely nothing to worry about. Great Service Alex. Thank you

If you're looking for the services of professional architect/structural engineer, Alex is your man. From the moment I called him, I knew he was the man for the job. Highly professional and very knowledgeable, Alex came to survey our property when he said he would, gave me advice and answered any queries I had. He produced the plans we needed in 6 days, including all the structural detail and has now submitted our plans for approval. In addition to this, I found him to be very competitively priced when compared to other quotes I got, and I obtained a lot. I will def. be using his services for any future projects and will be recommending him to all my friends and family. Very pleased.

Alex designed a ground floor extension for our home in Sutton Coldfield. He was extremely efficient, replying to all our emails and text messages quickly and thoroughly. Alex handled all matters with the Council and made the process feel easy. Since completing our designs he has assisted with queries that have arisen out of conversations with builders. I was introduced to Alex via a recommendation within the building trade where he has built a reputation for his bias towards structural engineering, avoiding unnecessary pitfalls down the line. Alex produces detailed plans, paying particular attention to the inner workings of the building's support systems and its overall structural integrity - a major advantage when handing over the project to builders and when meeting the approval of building inspectors. If you feel that aesthetics have been compromised, in the process, Alex will revisit the plans and work with you to find a solution that is design-led, functional and structurally sound. Many of these issues can be resolved quickly and within an email or two. This single storey extension has been my initial introduction to home improvement and although I was previously unclear about the process, and potential related costs, I can now move forward with confidence, knowing that I have a set of plans that achieve their purpose, exactly, and leave little to chance.

I hired Alex to design and apply to the council for a two story extension with rear under covered area. He came to our house to discuss what I wanted, explained everything fully, sent me drafts of the plans, then applied for permission. Alex was more than happy to answer my questions at any point he gave us some great ideas with the build. I would recommend him to anyone! The application was accepted and all a lot quicker than I expected. We are very grateful to him!
