The new owners of The Pantiles seem to be working hard to dispel initial fears caused by its recent sale. Commercially, The Pantiles is our strong point here in Tunbridge Wells, and Targetfollow arepresenting a clean, refreshed and energetic front to our once tiring promenade.
With a list of interesting and eclectic events and activities, The Pantiles is once again returning to its origins as the place to meet and greet.
www.thepantiles.co.uk has detailed information about what's on offer, including Ghost Walks running from 30th October to the end of November (Tunbridge Wells has a wealth of supernatural spooks and ghouls behind it), Halloween workshops for the kids, and the switching on if its Christmas lights, to name but a few of the more seasonal events.
Regular attractions include the indoor and outdoor markets - for example craft and farmers markets - and regular music performances.
Not to mention the fantastic food and drink available at its many bars and restaurants, favourites for me including The Ragged Trousers and The Gray Lady.
Its quaint, its modern, its quiet, its bustling - The Pantiles is all of these things and I love it.
