When an area in our life is not necessarily going the way we would like, it is easy to think that every aspect of our life is also challenged! When this happens, we only focus on the negative and completely forget the things which are great and going well.

Does that describe how you are feeling at the moment? If so (or even if things are great) why not try out the tool below:

Wheel of Life

When you are using this tool, please feel free to change the life areas to suit your life, e.g. if spiritual development and/or travel is important to you, score these too.

Each segment of the wheel represents one area of your life. Look at each section and ask yourself,  how satisfied am I with each of these areas of your life? Are you putting as much time, energy and attention into these areas as you would like? The centre of the wheel is 0, representing that you are dissatisfied; the outer edge is 10 and represents full satisfaction and total achievement. Deciding on your degree of satisfaction marking the wheel from 0 to 10 on each section. Drawing a line to join your marks together will indicate how balanced is your life is at the present time? Which areas of your life make you happy, satisfied and fulfilled? Which areas need improvement?

Using 'The Wheel of Life' highlights the areas you wish to improve and also the areas in your life that are already 'good'.
