2008 was another record breaking year for Bespoke Recruitment, as theycontinued to build on their already very impressive reputation as one of the Islands leading Financial Services Recruitment Agencies. Jon states that Bespoke has continued to dominate the Executive Market, placingnumerous candidates at Senior Manager and Board Leve lAppointments. Jon explained that 90% of Bespoke's Candidates come through recommendations from satisfied candidates and clients, and that the General Recruitment
Division headed up by Claire Johnston grew almost as quickly as the Executive Division in 2008! Claire has built up an excellent reputation with her Clients, and her professional and friendly approach is further helped by her in depth knowledge of the market place. Jon has reported a very impressive start to 2009, commenting that the high level of placements in both the Executive and General divisions has been due to a mixture of having more Candidates available in the market place, along with the large selection of exciting vacancies Bespoke has on offer attracting more people than ever before! Although Jon recognizes that 2009 could be a challenging year, he feels that the Isle of Man will not be as badly affected as the UK, explaining that there is still a shortage of skilled workers on the Island, and therefore demand
for staff continues to remain high. "We have already seen a big
increase in the number of temporary workers and contractors working through Bespoke in January 2009, and have actually outperformed are figures for January 2007 and January 2008 with permanent placements!"
