Isn't it fair though that Manx Radio starts operate in an open market the way the other radio stations do?  Even if this does mean change.

Can anyone explain to me why the Isle of Man Government continues to bail out Manx Radio with subsidies?

Perhaps in days gone by there was a reason for a ‘national’ radio – but with less and less people regularly listening surely those days are gone.  And of course there are 2 other island radio stations 3FM and Energy who are in operation without such a subsidy.

What do you think?
