Itâs great to see the Isle of Man receive acknowledgement for the wonderful opportunities for star gazers and astrologists on the island. The lack of light pollution on the Isle of Man leads to breath taking displays of stars that you can almost reach out and touch and fabulous Northern Light displays without having to go Alaska or Norway! This is another source of potential tourists that the Isle of Man can further embrace. The island could be seen as a âone trickâ pony with the amount of emphasis placed on the motorcycling heritage of the island which takes the lions share of the tourism budget for the island for the TT and other motoring festivals but the Isle of Man has lots to offer visitors looking for an alternative holiday. Walking, bird watching, mountain biking and fishing to name but a few!
