Here is a quick round up of some of the money raising activities going on this friday (18 November) for Children in Need

Auldyn

Staff and children dressing as teddies or in a spotty theme.

Making a giant Pudsey bear out of pennies. Decorating spotty biscuits. Design a new spotty tie for Mr Neill. Spotty story telling in the library with the head/deputy.

Year 2 to go to Sure Strike Bowling in Ramsey to take part in 24 hour bowlathon.

Ballakermeen

Cake sale, students wearing pyjamas, sponsored silence. 

Ballaquayle

Dress down day

Ballasalla

Pyjama day and bring teddies

 

Braddan

Wear spotty clothes and cake sale

 

Bunscoill Ghaelgagh

Themed dressing up day, treasure hunt on a picture of Pudsey

 

Castle Rushen

Non-uniform day for all students and optional for staff, too,

 

Fairfield Children to ʻshow their spotsʼ by wearing spotty clothes or accessories. Cake sale.

 

Isle of Man College

On Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th there will be an event in the foyer including competitions, raffle, cake and book stalls, hairbraiding, sponsorsed leg waxing within the College. On the 18th November Childcare students will be Fundraising outside Marks and Spencer and within the Strand Shopping Centre, they will also be bagpacking at supermarkets including Shoprite.

Kewaigue Non-uniform day

 

Rushen Non-uniform day and cake sale

 

St Ninian’s Cake sale at 1st and 2nd breaks in Room 34.  Guess Pudsey’s middle name (chosen by the headteacher) in the fortnight leading up to the 18th. Winner wins bear. Winner announced lunchtime on 18th

Guess how many sweets in the massive jar – based in the library. Winner announced lunchtime on 18th 

 

St Thomas’s Pupils wear something spotty or dotty.  There will be prizes for the spottiest dressed children. Cakes and nibbles sale.
