Forward Ladies is the North’s fastest growing, women’s networking and
business support organisations with more than 11,000 members. Isle of Man
Women in Business became part of Forward Ladies in May 2010.

“We recently launched Forward Ladies here to offer members a range of
professional development, social and networking events across the Island,”
said organiser Kate Lord. “We've seen a lot of interest so far and are very
happy to announce our first three meet ups.”

On 24 June the group will hold a social evening of private shopping at
Pomagranate in Onchan, with a raffle to benefit the Radiance Healthcare
initiative. Participants are invited to browse through the selection of
gifts, luxury food and beauty products and enjoy product demonstrations and
samples, including Henna tattooing.

On 6 July is “Developing High Performance Teams”, sponsored by Paragon
Recruitment, a free, day-long workshop designed to accelerate participants'
ability to be part of and lead high performing teams. They will sample the
training formula of CPD, where purposefully designed activities are combined
with expertly facilitated review, and with the latest in team development
theory and research. The event starts at 9.45 am and takes place at
Silverdale Glen, Ballasalla.

On 7 July Forward Ladies will hold a two-hour evening seminar: “Unlocking
the benefits of social media for your business” hosted and sponsored by
PDMS. Participants will learn how social media are changing the way people
communicate and how businesses can leverage social networks to drive in
sales leads, enhance reputation and improve customer and staff
relationships. The event starts at 17.30 and takes place at Global House,
Isle of Man Business Park, Cooil Road, Braddan.
