Britain’s Got Talent winners Diversity are due to attend the premiere of Street Dance 3D at Leicester Square in London this week. The UK’s first 3D film, which features some of the country’s top dance talent, tells the story of a street dance crew that join forces with a ballet troupe to win the UK Street Dance Championships, and opens in UK cinemas on the 21st May.
Diversity have also just completed their first UK tour, which sold over 60,000 tickets at 27 venues, and are due to perform at the Monaco Grand Prix on the 16th May, just weeks before their Bay Festival appearance.
Boy band JLS have been in the USA, filming new videos and appearing on American television to promote their new single “Everybody in Love”. After returning to the UK, the international stars will be performing at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Bangor on the 23rd May before gearing up for their Manx appearance.

Diversity, JLS and Peter Dickson will be joining 28 other artists and bands for the Bay Festival on the 18th, 19th and 20th June, including The Saturdays, Lemar and Calvin Harris. In anticipation of the arrival of the stars, Manx Radio is becoming ‘Your Manx Telecom Bay Festival Station’ from Monday the 10th May.
The station’s play list will be packed with Manx Telecom Bay Festival music and there will be interviews with the artists at 9.10am every Tuesday and Thursday morning throughout May with more in June.
