Thousands of enthusiasts from all over Europe will be travelling to Tewkesbury for the annual Medieval Festival, on July 7 & 8. Around 2000 of them will be taking part in a re-enactment, on part of the site of the original battle of Tewkesbury of 1471.

Microlight pilots are taking to the skies this summer to raise money for The Old Spot Trust, to benefit local charities & good causes. Every Wednesday members of the Severn Valley Microlight group will be touching down in each other’s fields.
The Old Spot Trust is a county-based fund-raising organization that seeks to support groups who help the county’s people, animals, wildlife or environment, inviting local charities, community groups & non profit making organisations to apply for grants.

MORE than 2,500 people are expected to flock to Tewkesbury Abbey for the annual Abbey Fete later this month. The fete has been running in the grounds of the Abbey in Church Street for more than 30 years. Last year it raised over £8,500.
