This February half-term, Telford has plenty of activities and events to occupy the kids with. Whether you fancy a kid friendly event at one of Telford's attractions, or would rather explore some outdoor activities, we've got all your family-fun covered.

Museums

Living in a world heritage site has its advantages, Telford and Ironbridge have a great choice of museums to choose from, you could go to a different one each day of half term. If you're an Annual Passport holder you benefit from unlimited entry to all 10 museums throughout the year.

How about experiencing the flight themed family activities and workshops offered across the Museum sites? Or perhaps you would like to decorate your very own tile at Jackfield Tile Museum? From getting lost in an age gone by at Blists Hill Victorian Town to discovering science and technology at Enginuity; there is plenty to do in Telford Museums.

Sport

There are a wide selection of sporting activities for children in Telford to help kids to get active; if you are looking for the best and most affordable Multi sport and Soccer schools in Telford, then start with Activ8. They offer both half term and Summer holiday sports club for children. For more information or to book your place call 01952 427833.

Telford Ice Rink are holding half term activities like the skatathon sessions during February half term which take place every day 10.30am – 3.30pm. Whether you skate with family or friends there will be music fun and laughter for all to enjoy.

The Council’s leisure facilities have a full programme of activities for all abilities, tastes and ages. This includes cheerleading, tobogganing, trampolining and gymnastics. Better still, many of these activities are just £1.00!

Families can enjoy an adrenaline packed session of Tubing at Telford Snowboard and Ski Centre or Pay and Play Table Tennis at Oakengates Leisure Centre.

Soft Play

The newest soft play venue in Telford is a fantastic place for kids and their families. At Pirates & Princesses Adventure Zone there is something for everyone; with a specially adapted sensory area for babies and children with special needs to a play area for toddlers; a delicious cup of coffee can be savoured by Mum, Dad or carers as the kids play in a brightly coloured play area for children up to the age of 10 years old. If you haven't been already, this play barn is really worth exploring this February half term.

Cinema

With a daily kids club at the Odeon Cinema Telford allowing you and your child to watch a film for as little as £1.00, going to cinema is an affordable way to entertain the kids. With showings including Moana and Trolls, it's a few pounds well spent.

So with all this on offer, you really should not hear the phrase "I'm bored" this half term.
