What an exciting week! Not only has it been our 4 month birthday (we can't believe that we are only 4 months old), but we are celebrating another award.
This week we won an #SBS (Small Business Sunday) award from Theo Paphitis from Dragon Den.
Any business can enter Theo's award. You tweet him between the hours of 5.30 and 7pm on a Sunday. Theo then chooses his favourite 6 and retweets them.
Why are we excited to receive this accolade?
As a small busines we do not have an endless marketing budget. Theo has over 200,000 followers. By retweeting us each of these followers has the potential to learn about our business. Some of these followers also retweeted us making our coverage even larger.
So far we have been interviewed by 2 radio stations, 1 newspaper, been asked to write an article for an online magazine and asked to feature on a women's show on a radio programme.
We are so excited to receive Theo's endorsement at such an early stage of the business.
Theo has also suggested that he has a 'gift' for each #sbs winner that he will announce between Christmas and New Year. Watch this space!
