Telford roadworks scheduled throughout October

A schedule of significant road resurfacing work is due to take place across Telford and Newport throughout October 2017.

The roadworks will commence on October 3 and will last for approximately six weeks. The areas affected will include Halesfield, Sutton Hill and Forton.

Funding for the work has come from the council’s highways capital fund as part of its Pride In Your Community programme to make the borough a better place to live, work and visit.

The schedule, which will be dependant on weather and therefore subject to change, is advised as follows:

Halesfield Roundabout: 3-7 October. Work between 7pm and 6am.
Coppice Farm Roundabout: 10-14 October. Work between 7pm-6am.
Sutton Hill Roundabout: 17-21 October. Work between 7.30am-5pm.
St Quentins Roundabout: 24-28 October. Work between 7.30am-10pm.
Queen Elizabeth Way: 24-31 October. Work between 7.30am-10pm.
Holyhead Road M54 J7: 31 Oct-4Nov. Work between 7pm-6am.
Forton Roundabout, Newport: 2-11 Nov. Work between 7pm-6am.
