Peter Andres is an English-born Australian singer and TV personality best known for his successful chart-topping singles Mysterious Girl.
The star, who is currently top of the leader board following last night’s televised Strictly Come Dancing show, will be kicking off Telford’s annual free event by turning on the Town Centre Christmas lights. The evening festivities will coincide with the opening of Santa’s Grotto in the centre, together with a host of entertainment from 6pm until 8pm at Southwater.
Andrea gained fame as a reality TV personality when he appeared as a contestant on in I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in 2004. During his time on the show, Andre developed an on-screen romantic relationship with glamour model, Jordan - also known by her real name Katie Price. Since then he reignited his pop career and went on to be a presenter and television personality with shows including Katie & Peter, Peter Andre: My Life , 60 Minute Makeover as well as staring in Iceland supermarket’s television commercials. He is presently a contestant on the thirteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing in which he partners Janette Manrara.
