This year, the dreaded date falls at the end of half term holiday week, so there’s stacks of horror-related fun for the youngsters throughout their school break, and here in Telford, we have a wealth of spooktacular things on offer.

Halloween at Hoo Farm includes heaps of horrible fun in Horrorville throughout the holiday. Lots of creepiness every day, including a Devil’s Derby, plus a fancy dress competition for souls brave enough to go along on the afternoon of October 30th.
There’s also an evening event on the Saturday, from 6.30pm until 9pm, and anyone going along should take a torch.
Halloween at Park Hall promises to be a spine-chilling experience every day from October 23rd until the 31st, when the countryside experience becomes a little darker than normal – though it’s definitely horror with a sense of humour!
A host of activities are on offer, including storytime for younger visitors, a mummy wrap competition, plus pumpkin carving and lots of games and competitions.
Trick or Treat Wonderland Telford invites visitors to come in fancy dress all week – there’s a competition at the end of the week, on Sunday 31st – and play trick or treat in the Winter Wonderland village.
You can collect spooky gifts and find all sorts of fun throughout the attraction.
There’s also Halloween Extravaganza at Telford Wonderland – an evening of spooky spectacles from 5.30 – 8.30pm on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st.
Dare you step out for some exercise that week? If so, Spooky Walks at Attingham Park put a whole new twist on the National Trust attraction.

There’s also a Halloween Party at Attingham Park on Sunday 31st.  From 4.30pm until 7.30pm, you can go along and play some gruesome games – booking is not necessary at the event, which is suitable for all ages.
Ironbridge most certainly has a colourful history, and you may find out a bit more about its past inhabitants than you bargained for at Ghostly Gaslight Halloween at Blists Hill
The Victorian town event, from 6pm on Satuday 30th includes creepy crawlies, ghosts, ghouls and a spooky atmosphere – booking  is required in advance.
Weird and Wonderful Halloween at Weston Park sees the Shropshire parkland transformed by lantern light – ride the Phantom Express through the wild woods and follow the pumpkin lantern trail to who know’s where?
